Today Haringey Council have circulated details of six Finsbury Park music events (16 days over six weekends) for which applications have been received for next summer.
To summarise the six events planned are:

On site - date not given, but probably Friday 27 April
Event start - Friday 4 May
Event end - Sunday 6 May

Event start – Friday 29 June

Slammin Events Presents – 12,000 attendees (ref. no. HGY06565)
On site – date not given, but probably Monday 24 September
Festival start- Saturday 29 September
Festival end - Sunday 30 September
Off site – date not given, but probably Friday 5 October
There is some overlap with the June and July events, and where on & off site dates were not given I treated each event date as being independent though probably in practice there will be some merging. It is looking as if between Friday 27 April and Friday 13 July there will only be two weeks when the Park is not being used (i.e. for set up, take down or the event) for events.
Unfortunately the Council don’t consider comments from individuals if you have any, best contact your local councillor, residents association or Friends of Finsbury Park. But be quick as the deadline is 5 pm on Monday 23 October. Comments should be sent to Thema Channer at the Council’s Event Office – thema.channer2@haringey.gov.uk.
If all the applications are approved, this will breach Haringey Council’s Outdoor Events Policy 2014 which limits major events (more than 10,000 attendees) to five per year with a duration of 1 to 3 days each
