Getting fed up with TalkTalk - very slow and tech. support poor. Any ideas? I only need it for phone, emails and the like.

Only BT or Virgin. They can send directly their engineers in case of issue
I've had Virgin engineers over. Nine times and couldn't fix the problem, mostly due organisational dysfunction.
Four months without stable broadband.
Never again, even if it's great when it works.
Yep agree with Karen re Virgin. I keep having problems mainly with the phone not working. They have plenty of excuses, it never seems to improve but the prices keep skyrocketing!
Just called VM... same old story sending out an engineer - its hard to believe VM was one of the best broadband providers in the past - wonder what happened.
On the line with VM right now..... same old story... sending out an engineer. I think their helpline operators are all versed in the same old lines and verse - looks like VM is finished.
