Volunteers urgently needed for baby & toddler group
Hi all
I co-run Jolly Babies drop-in on Monday afternoons (2pm-4.30pm) at the Burghley Road centre, just off Turnpike Lane. It is a lovely informal group for under 3's in a great building with outside space.
We desperately need new volunteers to help open and close the group and ideally we need to find someone who will take over running the group from us when our children turn 3 in the next few months.
If we can't find new people to help out we will have to close at the end of August, which will be a great shame - this is one of the only afternoon activities in the area and is a lovely, relaxed place for babies and new parents to meet.
If you are a parent/carer of small children we would love to see you at the group in the next few weeks and please do consider volunteering to keep the group running.

What happened with Jolly Babies - did you find the volunteers you needed. I'd be interested to get involved but it sounds as though you are no longer the person to talk to about this???

Hi there - Jolly Babies is still running, we had a great response from Harringay Online and other websites that we posted on and have several new volunteers.
I no longer go due to work committments but if you pop along on Monday from 2pm the volunteer on duty will be able to tell you all about the group and what volunteering involves. Volunteers are always needed so it would be wonderful if you could help out.

Thanks - I have managed to get a much needed break from the little one tomorrow but will pop along with her next week.
