The View from the Top

Overcoming the kind of acute vertigo that meant I could never wear platform shoes when they were fashionable in the 1970's, I braved the steps of the St Mary Tower at Hornsey this afternoon.

It being their open day, the keepers of the oldest building in Hornsey threw open their doors to let the locals in. And a very nice view it would have been - if it were not so high - GULP!

Having done my duty, I have decided to award myself the LSB in recognition of my efforts and to steady my jangling nerves. LSB of course standing for Large Sauvignon Blanc!  Hope you like the pics - hic!
