Has anyone been here yet? I pass it on the bus almost every day and it always seems to be empty, save for the woman behind the counter. It looks like an actual café - I've always thought that the patisserie bit of Yasar Halim would really benefit from having a place to sit down and consume their wares, so I'm surprised there's never anyone in this new one, where you can. Perhaps Green Lanes is all baklava-d out?

I've been in with the boss of Harringay Traders, Shefik Mehmet, on a couple of what I christened his 'walking Harringay lunches'. Its good baklava. Don't be put off by any perceived lack of trade. I suspect that the flows of business are quite uneven and that it does its trade at particular times.
I try and create a Foursquare check-in for all new Harringay businesses. See here.
Feedback from Twitter:
@harringayonline The baklava from Niyazi Usta is delicious. I took some to work to share with colleagues and it went down very well.
