Phone snatched at Green Lanes Bus Stop

A warning this morning from a Harringay local who had his phone snatched as he alighted from a bus on Green Lanes near St Ann's Road.

Bryn Williams, 24, was coming back to home to Harringay after a night our celebrating his 24th birthday. As he alighted from a 29 bus, he was jostled by a man waiting at the bus stop. To avoid confrontation, Bryn made his way home only to find that his phone has been taken in the short interaction.

Bryn told HoL, "The guy was being a bit grabby saying hello how are you. I pretty much pushed him away and by the time I got into my flat I realised my phone had gone. I wanted to let people know so the same doesn't happen to them."
