Overcrowding at Finsbury Park

Hi all, I just wanted to share this experience with anyone using the over ground line through Hornsey and Harringay stations during the morning rush hour.

A few times this week, the staff at FP station have told commuters to stay on the train to H&I station as FP underground was closed due to over crowding. Twice I did this and spent another 40 minutes trying to get to Holborn. The third time, I decided to just wait until the congestion was cleared, the time saving being zero anyway.

Three things:

1) the interchange between the over ground and underground was not closed at all.

2) The platforms to both lines were practically empty, in fact I got a seat

3) I got to work faster than ever....

Sometimes it pays to be a rebel...
