Muna's gone

Walked past Muna's, 599 Green Lanes, and, sadly, it appears to have closed down for good - it is shuttered, the sign is gone, and mail appears uncollected. The woman in the neighbouring florist, Anthos, confirmed the bad news. I didn't go there as often as I'd have wanted over the past seven and a half years but every time I did the food was great and Muna a wonderful warm host. Her Sudanese and Eritrean fare were the real deal and the Green Lanes restaurant scene will be the poorer for its disappearance.
