Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Film London has been working with Haringey Council to mount a film showcase weekend for Tottenham.

Taking place over the last weekend in September (28-30 September 2012), the Big Film Weekend will be the area’s first community film showcase. The project aims to celebrate Tottenham’s film making talent and cultural diversity.

The weekend will bring feature screenings, events and film related activity curated by community organisations and hosted by local Tottenham venues.  Within its rich and diverse programmes delivered by multiple local community groups, highlights include films shot in Haringey as well as those made by residents of the borough.

In response to calls from local residents, there will also be a one day Medley Market at Tottenham Green East.  Stalls by local businesses and residents are planned.
