Antep restaurant becomes Zer

I just bumped into the guy who used to run the Turkish  Antep restaurant, near the corner of Green Lanes and Rutland Gardens.  It was a favourite of mine, ever so slightly upmarket, without takeaway stews etc..

It's been closed for a while, and now that the launderette next door, on the corner with Rutland, has closed, the wall between the two has been knocked down, and an expanded restaurant is in the making.

The owner expects to open in about 8 week's time  (so I guess mid- to end of August).

It seems that it will be called Zer.

It will now also have takeaways, or -- as he put it -- "EVERYTHING!".
