Comment by Christine Killick on May 19, 2017 at 21:25: I remember when it was the corner shop. Newsagents, Sweets, Drinks, Books, Toys. Mr & Mrs Watts owned the corner shop and extended into the next shop. We lived above the extension. Their son now lives in Waltham Abbey.

Comment by Leonard Norfolk on May 26, 2017 at 17:17: I did a paper round from the corner shop around 58/59 finally I was sacked after the owner got fed up with me being late . He was a decent man as I recall.

Comment by andrew simmonds on October 20, 2020 at 7:50: How sad to see the corner shop looking like that. I lived in Berseford rd. and the corner shop was the go to place for sweets and comics. Great memories.
