Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Printers' Almshouses, Wood Green
A few months back I posted a picture of the Fishmongers Almshouses which used to stand where the Civic Centre is today. This picture is a little further south and shows what used to stand where an anonymous office block is today.

I remember these Printer's Almshouses. When I was about 10 years of age I used to walk along the balcony just because it was there. I lived round the back in Ringslade Road.

I used to walk past the Almshouses on my way to school (Trinity Grammar) between 1958 & 1962. I believe they were still occupied then.
