Ice Skating Prodigy Four Year Old Beryl Bailey at Harringay Arena

One of the country's youngest skaters four year old Beryl Bailey surrounded by ice-skating boots at Harringay Arena. 2nd January 1937

Beryl went on to achieve 6th place in both the 1949 and 1950 European Figure Skating Championships.

Comment by Maureen Bamfield on November 10, 2023 at 12:39: Oh how I remember many Sunday mornings spent on this ice rink, I lived about a 5minute walk to it. I used to watch the professionals practising and tried so hard to do their actions, those are such lovely memories
