Interesting - I don't know that stretch very well but are buildings on the left of the old photo still around? It looks like the road layout may have changed?

For all you car nuts out there, The Jewsons (out of the pic, next to the red car) is where Colin Chapman founded Lotus.

Just something I had to share.

Thanks pvig - lots more on that here. (John, who took the today photo to add to my historic image is part of a group trying to set up a Lotus museum on the original Hornsey site).
