There are earlier maps - these include one from 1869 and a 17th Century map of the Manor of Tottenham which includes the eastern part of Harringay.

It was pure vandalism... Let's demolish you lot and re-build Harringay House and Park!

Ah, Steve, could you rebuild it when there are seemingly no pictures of the House?

Also, the plan above seems to show the New River tunnel going under the House whereas I presumed that the New River went around the House as in this map from 1876 (at least until the house was demolished and the River diverted).

The plan shows the propsed rerouting of the river Alistair. THe river did inded loop around the house prior to the late 19th century urbanisation.
