Welcome to Harringay Online. I hope you'll find it a great way to keep up with what's going on in and around Harringay, to chat with your neighbours about what interests and concerns you – or just to ask for or offer help.
If you didn’t get a chance to read it when you signed up, you can get a basic idea of what we’re all about and how the site works on our welcome page.
If you have any questions, feel free to visit the page of Hugh or Liz and ask anything you like. (We’re not setting ourselves up as oracles here, but we’ll do our best to help with anything about Harringay Online).
We’d love to hear from you so please share your views by commenting on posts that interest you or adding new ones.

I cannot send anything privately despite you being a connection so this will have to be public!!
Hello!
I've tried to send you messages a few times but I'm clearly doing something wrong as I never get to send - I just hit send for about three minutes, nothing happens and I give up. So thank you so much for getting in touch!
It was so lovely meeting you, Rosie and Sam - it made househunting in a new neighbourhood a lot less scary. We didn't find anything - the place jI mentioned was ok but in a dreadful area. It was off the ladder and just north of the station. Then we saw a two bed house which was practically falling down just near St Anne's Hospital. It made me despair slightly of finding a decent rental property, but not of a place to buy. We are still looking for a place to stay when we come back but are very close to finding something - not in Harringey but Harringey accessible. So, my email is vanessafrancesuk@gmail.com just in case I continue to have problems with this site. Thanks so much for offering to help -see you soon!
