Thanks for the post about the Easter event at the book shop. I also posted this in the Kid Stuff group and will send out a notification to those members but if you want a discussion to show up in latest activity when you post in a group you have to reply to it yourself ( a peculiarity of ning) and then it will be picked up on the main page. Glad everything is going well, will bring the nippers up soon!

Hello, Simon. Nice to meet you and Tim today and thanks for listening so patiently to my girl's chattering...she never stops you know, except to sleep (and not always then). Will speak to the Ladder CSP next meeting and see if I can get you an invite to come and talk to them. Lovely book shop!

BTW you were right about Satoshi Kitamura but it looks like it is invitation only. I'm gutted...

Simon, I notice Liz's post about your attending an LCSP meeting. You'd also be welcome to blog on this site if that's your sort of thing. An engaging blog can develop a real following.

    Hi Simon
wow didn't know there was a bookshop in WG. Great news. And I'm a writer - looking for motivation to finish my 1st book/memoir. Already written about 20 chapters - need to finish it and get published. don't panic, Its not about knitting or whatever. I've been a poet for years, quite a few published in anthologies over the years. Been in a monthly writer's group in Holloway for years, which I now chair. Do 'performance' poetry occasionally when I have time/get it together.
So what do you think - would yr workshop work for me?

Hi Simon, I think you're the chap I met in the bookshop on Tuesday around lunchtime — I bought some Ursula le Guin short stories and The Scar by China Mieville. I thought I'd let you know I've added

Oh, it ate half my comment, how odd. It should have ended up: ...added the bookshop to our website about nice things in London. (I didn't mention this at the time because I know how annoying it is when people say "oh I will tell all my friends" and then don't do it.) I hope to be back soon!
