I think the Neighbourhood Forum should discuss this and receive an update on the Regeneration work and regular feedback reports from GLSG.

I prefer to stick with Harringay.

A couple of updates to issues discussed here:

1. GLSG minutes - as a result of Ant Elder's requests to former GLSG Chair Nilgun Canver, the GLSG minutes were published for a few months. I noticed today when trying to check on something else, that the last time minutes were published was April 2013.

2. Harringay rebranding: By way of a postscript to the conversation above - both Cllrs Canver and Brabazon have protested that there has never been any intention to rebrand Harringay.

Following up the same issue as in 1 above, I stumbled across the Area Plan for Harringay and St Ann's plan, the existence of which I'd been unaware of (or forgotten). Here's a screen-shot of item 3.1

Ok, understood. I don't know where I'd picked up the idea that there'd be another round of consultation on the latest designs. Kind of glad to hear there won't be since at some point the consultations must end and the actions begin.

My thanks to all involved in the project for the effort and dedication they're putting into the local area. I don't have to agree with every detail to be grateful for that.

The consultation on the OLF work that occasioned this debate is finished now. So, no specific channel other than the ones that are always open, like writing to your councillor.

Thanks Hugh,

Biting my tongue since as you say it's been well debated above. Is my understanding correct that there will be a consultation on other issues? If so, I expect there will be an "Any other comments" or similar section where residents can express their views on any matter that concerns them, whether that be the name or otherwise. Sufficient interest in a particular issue might possibly open it to consideration I suppose?

I don't want to re-activate this debate. (No, I REALLY don't!). I think that everything that needs to be said has been said. But, by way of rounding it off, I wanted to report back that the GLSG last night decided that no further public consultation on our neighbourhood's name was necessary and that their choice of name remains as Harringay Green Lanes.

Hugh's LinkedIn profile kicks a*se already.

Just to stop your second paragraph going down the wrong place. Neither Hugh nor Cllr Canver were present at the LCSP meeting concerned and Ian Sygrave quotes an email from Cllr Canver. That's right, it's in an email which is copied and pasted into the minutes.

It's now just about nobody in power wanting Hugh to "have his way", which is childish.

"very skilfully" - sounds like you should be asking the councillor for a reference on Linked in, Hugh. Quick, strike while the iron is hot!

Unless, of course I'm misinterpreting that and the councillor is using a public meeting to criticise a resident I take it wasn't present. No, the councillor wouldn't do that though...surely.
