<p>I think it’s generally accepted (even by the council) that the on-street St Ann’s LTN signage was really inadequate when the scheme started, and I don’t think notification to residents was anything like good enough either. The subsequent LTN start dates were then delayed so that signage and notification could be in place before they began.</p>

It was left to a local resident that had to put a sign on one box telling people it was a different permit. A £195 fine for assuming a parking permit is a permit sounds fair enough. And if you assumed that 15 times, £2,925...a bargain. </p>
