<p>Here is a pix I took in 2014 of the magnificient Hercules at Rest <a href="http://ancientrome.ru/art/artworken/img.htm?id=6565" rel="noopener" target="_blank">a huge statue to be found in the Naples Museum</a>. It is a roman copy of a Greek original and dates from end of 2Cto early 3 AD.</p>

<p>Here is a pix I took in 2014 of the magnificient Hercules at Rest <a href="http://ancientrome.ru/art/artworken/img.htm?id=6565" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a huge statue to be found in the Naples Museum</a>. It is a roman copy of a Greek original and dates from end of 2Cto early 3 AD.</p>

<p>This reminded me of another stone. I posted a picture of it by way of a small quiz some years ago. As I remember, nobody knew where it was. It’s on Raleigh Road. It looks very much like a modern adornment. But it’s a nice addition.</p>
