Thanks for the links. I'm sure people will find them very useful.

Rocque's 1754 map has always seemed rather sketchy compared to the earlier map. So, I tend not to refer to it much beyond using it as an overview.

That BfA image is one of my favourites. I've used several times on HoL, because it shows a part of our patch that has changed so much over the past half-century or so.

The detail you give is amazing! I don’t even have time to read it properly atm!

Anyway, you seemed disappointed that Rocque’s C18 Map doesn’t stretch out far enough. You know he did a Middlesex one too, yes? It’s now on Layers of London. Here’s the link, & tho I’m not overly keen on it myself coz of its inaccuracies etc, it’s still good to have!…

The 1815 Hornsey Map is also on LoL:

And you have the link to Milne’s brilliant 1795-1800 Map? Here it is if not:

And one more map I like is Bodger’s 1795 Boundary of Tottenham Map. It’s limited, but shows some nice detail over your side:

A week or so ago, I stumbled on an 1815 case concerning the road by Prospect Place. I'm not sure it tells us a great deal more, but I've added a little bit of extra information anyway, along with an 1815 hand-drawn plan showing Prospect Place (just above the Ordnance Survey map with the big red circle).

Ah, that photo from just east of the bridge is lovely. Heartbreaking to see what was lost, compared to the quality of its replacements.
