<p>Heard about Bittern going through Ally Pally and thought i would try to get some photos. Couldn't go to platform as i hate open stairways so stood on bridge with fingers crossed.</p>

<p>Back in the summer I was surprised to see a steam train going past on the Barking - Gospel Oak Overground line - and a few weeks later my 3 year old saw another one.</p>
<p>I did some research, and turned up this company, who run some services from Southend, crossing London (e.g. Southend-Winchester)- </p>
