I've spotted enough of the little blighters to know we have a problem. Can anyone recommend a pest controller they've used before I go full blown Rentokil on them?

So... I recently learnt that ladybirds are excellent natural predators for garden / veg patch pests such as aphids and greenfly.

I'm a bit wary of buying live ladybirds online because I don't want to inadvertently introduce an invasive species or some such. Besides they're effectively about £1 each and I don't know how much one should spend on something that can fly away!

Before I do this I was wondering if anyone's had any experience using ladybirds for pest control…

Hi, we have squirrels or rats getting into our loft. Have just spent a fortune on rewiring. Can anyone recommend a pest control outfit who can get rid of them without charging a small fortune? Thanks

Hi HoLers,

We have a wasp nest in an airbrick right under our ground floor bedroom window. Haringey Council are unable to help as we are not tenants/on any kind of benefit and they are swamped.

Can anyone recommend a good local pest control service for getting rid of wasp nests? I would normally leave them to die out naturally, but my partner has just been stung and I'm worried they'll start coming into our flat!

So during lockdown we have realised just how much junk we have and that we have a severe lack of storage. With this in mind we need to clear the under stairs so that we can properly store some stuff. Also we’ve now got mice so I want to clear as much as possible so we can successfully deal with this problem.

so my questions are

Are we still able get someone to clear this if we put in front yard so they don’t have to come into contact with us?

Hi

We've had this ant infestation problem in the kitchen for the past 6 months. It started off as the odd few but now they are everywhere. In the cupboards, in the draws, on the kitchen surfaces, floor.

It’s turning into a nightmare, we've looked for nests outside in the garden but cant find anything and the kitchen unit is closed off which makes it hard to look for nest inside...

We live on Haringey ladder and just want an expert to come and help us.

It’s regular black garden ants, phoned the council and they only help out when it’s red ants.

Can anyone suggest a trustable person/company in the Haringey area to help us?

Would be very grateful for any advice too!

We are generally very clean but no matter how much we clean they keep coming back

Cheers!

I seem to have myself a rat problem. I saw a few posts recently on who to call (other than the council) to help sort the problem, but of course I cannot find them.

If anyone has any good recommendations that would be helpful. I believe they are making their way in through the now crumbling mortar gaps in my sewer out front and into the cellar from there. So, I may also need someone who can do some point work down there.
