I'm currently in the process of looking for a kitchen for an extension project. I've visited the usual suspects (Howdens, Magnet etc). I've noticed that a lot of people seem to rave about DIY Kitchens for high quality units at a decent price.

Has anyone got a kitchen from there that I could take a look at given there show room is currently only up north.

Hi all
I am looking for recommendations for baby friendly spaces and cafes in the area? After the very sad closure of Snug on Green Lanes in Harringay, I’m trying to find somewhere where I can sit with baby, has changing facilities, and not feel like I’m causing disruption with crying etc

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I have an elderly combi boiler which conked out several weeks ago, leaving me with no CH or hot water. I had a (Which? Trusted Trader) tradesman look at it today and he threw up his hands in horror at its age and said no way could he repair it as the spare parts were no longer made.

He quoted me £3k inc VAT for a replacement, which I simply cannot afford. Does anyone have any ideas about how I could get it repaired or replaced more cheaply or is there some other system i could…

I have a small flat and I am finding a fan heater in the living room OK for heating at the moment

Any and all ideas greatfully received!!
Air Source Heat Pump Systemtag:harringayonline.com,2024-02-29:844301:Topic:15663422024-02-29T15:12:14.115ZRachel Hodgkinhttps://harringayonline.com/profile/RachelHodgkin

Has anyone installed an air source heat pump system in their home? (The one you get a £7,500 government grant for swapping with your gas central heating).

Very interested to hear from anyone who has installed these pumps or anyone who has decided against them. Any comments, positive or negative, very welcome.

Hello!

I've just finished a course at Turning Earth in Tottenham, but they are looking to close down shortly. I quite enjoy handbuilding and want to do so at home - does anyone else do this and have recommendations for other memberships locally or easy kiln hire for just taking things for firing?

Or any advice in general!

Thank you :)

As I've had trouble finding a definitive answer does anyone know how accurate the above are ie for use by dates in 2023 should these now be ditched? I didn't know if it's a bit like other products where a sell by/use by date is unnecessarily rigid in order to get consumers to purchase more. I'd appreciate advice.
