About the teacher:
www.gabyfleming.weebly.com
Gaby undertook her yoga training in London over four years, and supplements this with further study in India. She teaches a diverse range of people, from young families to office workers, professional dancers and acrobats. Gaby believes there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to yoga. She uses traditional techniques to empower students on their own unique paths. Gaby uses various tools including postures, breathing, visualisation, lifestyle, philosophy and sound. It is an approach supported by one of the most comprehensive yoga teacher trainings in the world, a 750+ hours certification in the tradition of Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar.
Gaby continues to study under the guidance of her long term teacher and mentor Colin Dunsmuir. Vedic chanting is an integral part of her own yoga practice, for which she has one to one classes with Menaka Desikachar
Before training in yoga Gaby worked in policy, digitisation and curating at a number of world-class arts and cultural organisations including Arts Council England, Kew Gardens, The British Museum and Oxford University Faculty of Music
Gaby is also an aerialist, founder of the Arena Aerial Circus Training hub, performing on a variety of aerial apparatus and teaching static trapeze at circus schools in London
