Event Description

BGS's comedy night this month (Descriptions are BGS's own).

Adam Kay -
Amateur Transplants front man Adam Kay is going to sing you some smutty songs. Edinburgh Fringe sell-out 2005—2010.

This made me very, very happy’ (Stephen Fry). ‘Genius’ (Radio 1).

Adam has devalued the currency of swearing. I can't say c*** any more’ (Tim Minchin).

Thom Tuck - after his brilliant performance at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award, we're thrilled that Thom is making his second appearance at the bookshop.

Some recent reviews

Kat Brown - 'Katherine is funny for a girl and if she was a bloke she’d be hilarious. She’s not won any awards but people often tell her she should enter competitions. These people can be liars so it’s hard to know whether she is funny or not.'

Andrea Hubert - Runner-up in the 2010 Laughing Horse new act of the year competition. 'A natural born comic, with a great on-stage presence.'

Elf Lyons - another brilliant comedian who was a hit at Edinburgh.
'a clever observer and raconteur ... her unabashed, suggestible humour reminds me of Noel Fielding' - Ed Fringe Review

Doors at 7.30pm

Admission £3. Prebook tickets here or pay at the door.
