DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\nWe invite you to join us at the Paddoc
 k for our weekly survey in 2022! Whether you are an expert or complete
  beginner this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the wildli
 fe on your doorstep.\n\nWhat to expect:\n- A short talk on the species
 \n- A guided transect survey of the whole site.\n-The data collected w
 ill help us develop the Paddock into a Local Nature Reserve.\n- By boo
 king onto multiple sessions you’ll gain a deeper understanding of se
 asonal cycles, and improve your I.D. skills.\nPre-booking is essential
 , book now to confirm a place.\nPlease be aware Eventbrite booking clo
 ses one day before each surveying event at 5pm.\nIf you have to cancel

 .uk or by the contact numbers below to let us know.\n\nWhat to bring:\
 nYou will be issued with a field recording sheet, species guide sheets
 , a clipboard and a pencil.\nIf you own ID guides/books, you are welco
 me to bring them along.\nIndividual surveys will run outdoors for abou
 t an hour, please be sure to check the weather/temperature and dress a
 ccordingly.\n\nCOVID-Safe Measures:\nWhilst social distancing and COVI
 D-safe measures are no longer legally required, you are welcome to wea
 r a mask if you would like to. Please consider others' wishes who may 
 still want to social distance, and always wash hands before eating/dri
 nking on TCV projects.\nUnder 18s:\nAll ages can join in the bird surv
 ey, the route is a little muddy but buggies are welcome!\nIf you want 
 to volunteer and are 16-17 years old please ensure you get in touch wi
 th us at thepaddock@tcv.org.uk, as you will need a completed parent/ g
 uardian consent form to join in. For everyone aged 15 and under they w
 ill also need a parent/guardian with them to attend.\n\nMeeting point:
