Event Description
Come and make noise and celebrate the opening of the new pedestrian crossing over Blackboy Lane into Chestnuts Park near the junction with Cranleigh Rd.
Bring whistles, shakers, instruments, ribbons, scissors, balloons, chicken costumes.....
We're still going to keep campaigning for the zebra crossing to be upgraded to a pelican crossing, but for now, let's celebrate at least a partial victory after at least ten years of campaigning.
