DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the London Geodiversity Partnership, w
 e are delighted to offer a free Waterlow Park Geotrail as part of our 
 Heritage Weekend.\nJoin us as we learn how the geology of Waterlow Par
 k relates to its layout and local development from the London Geodive
 rsity Partnership.\nThe Geotrail will be led by Diana Clements. Diana
  has lived in Islington for many years and brought her children to Wat
 erlow Park when they were young where they enjoyed rolling around in t
 he mud produced from the springs on the slope. In 1995, she curated a 
 temporary exhibition for the Islington Museum, then in Upper Street: B
 eneath Our Feet: the Geology of Islington. Since 1990 she has worked i
 n the Natural History Museum and in 2010 compiled a Geologists’ Asso
 ciation Guide to the Geology of London (revised 2023). She has been ab
 le to continue her passion for the geology of London by becoming an ac
 tive member of the London Geodiversity Partnership.\nThe tour will beg
 in promptly at 12pm. Please meet at the front desk in the Entrance Ha
 ll from 11.45am (enter via the East Entrance directly off Highgate H
 ill). The walks will last approximately 45 minutes, so wrap up warm a
 nd prepare for winter weather.\nFor those unfamiliar with the Park, th
