SUMMARY:Watercolour Paint Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop, Lisa will guide you through the paint-ma
 king process from start to finish, giving tips and guidance on what to
  look out for when foraging for pigment.\nThe making of natural waterc
 olours is a very mediative process, each pigment with its own feel, sm
 ell and texture. All your senses will be used during this workshop and
  you should leave feeling a sense of calm.\nIn this workshop you will:
 \n\nLearn how to create watercolour paint from scratch.\n\nBe shown ho
 w to forage for suitable earth materials in the local area.\n\nGrind t
 he rocks/ earth you forage to a fine powder using a pestle and mortar 
 and a sieve.\n\nLearn about the ingredients needed for making watercol
 ours and the ratios needed for different pigments.\n\nUse a slab and m
 uller to bind the pigment together ready to be used as paint.\n\n\nYou
  will leave the workshop with one handmade watercolour, a PDF guide an
 d the knowledge to continue making your own natural watercolours at ho
 me.\nThis session will be hosted at Lisa’s Studio in Wood Green, Nor
 th London. It will include a 45-minute walk to and around Alexandra Pa
 lace Park.\nTickets are priced at £50 per person. This workshop is su
