Inspired by a klezmer music session in a London pub, Kevin O’Neill has been running Polyphony Down the Pub and Counterpint since 2014. Counterpint is a one-off “turn up and sing” evening of Renaissance choral music in a pub – and it’s coming to North London for the first time!
It’s a pub jam session for singing enthusiasts – you turn up, sing (or listen), drink, sing/listen some more and simply enjoy the evening. No ‘rehearsing’, no ‘performing’, just a bunch of people making music together. And no audition - but you do need to be able to read music.
Listeners are also welcome – it’s a rare chance to sit in the middle and get an amazing live surround sound experience!
FREE event but you must register here.. Booking recommended!
(NOTE: tickets are NOT available from Stroud Green online ticket site)
