We are writing to invite you to a StART General Meeting on 2nd July from 10am to 12 noon.
As you are aware, Catalyst is the appointed developer on the St. Ann’s site and they have a public engagement programme in hand. StART made the decision not to apply for the 50 community-led homes, but other groups are taking this forward. We feel that StART has reached a point where campaigning for good outcomes on site is best continued by the Community Forum of local groups around St. Ann’s and Catalyst’s own working committees, in which many of you are involved. In addition, for various reasons, many of our members have moved onto other activities.
As a result, StART directors are proposing to members that we close StART down. We are inviting you to attend this General Meeting to discuss this and to aim to reach agreement on the following: 1) to vote on the proposed resolution and 2) to determine where StART's remaining funds should go.
The General Meeting will be held on zoom, and we will send out further information about the meeting shortly. For now, it would be great if you could put the date in your diaries, and plan to join us.
The resolutions and further details will be sent in a follow-up email in due course.
With all good wishes,StART Directors.
