Haringey Council are running a Public planning consultation on BEH MHTs massive plans to change the usage of St Anns Hospital site and sell off 2/3rds of it for Housing. This is without checking what hospital services are needed in the area!
At Chestnuts Community Centre 280 St Anns Road N15 5BN at 7oopm
Come and have your say if you want an improved hospital with an Urgent Care Centre, more GPs, and a Child Health Centre.
NB BEH MHT is Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust who hold this NHS land for us
Plans are on http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=274419

Thanks for flagging this, Rod. It's so bad that the Council didn't think to inform us - unless the organisers art the NHS - still bad since we've had regular correspondence with them. It makes you wonder if they really want it publicised. Do the St Ann's councillors know about it?
HaNSAH the campaign group have written to all the Tottenham Cllrs incl St Anns Ward.It is organised by Haringey but badly publicised which is a disgrace in such a large development. Makes you wonder whether in their rush to get as much housing in East Haringey they are ignoring proper planning including checking the health needs of the area .
Rod
Definitely going, this is too important to miss. Can't promise I'll have read all the planning documents though! Thanks to Rod and others in HaNSAH for all their hard work.

Here are the posts from and on HoL about this issue for the past three years.
Thanks Hugh for putting that all together . I hope it shows that there has not been the broad agreement about the plans that BEH talk about in their various consultation documents.(see Helens view July 2012). Even in the last Community Reference Group (CRG) meeting we had to insist that previous minutes were not representative of the CRGs "serious concerns"about BEHs plans.
Here's a post I added about the hospital yesterday. Sadly with the short notice given on this meeting, I can't make tonight, but please come back and tell us all what happened.
