Share your memories over a cup of tea and a biscuit
The wartime conscription of young men was extended after WW2 with the National Service Act, 1947. The last conscript was not demobbed until 1963. These young men experienced fighting in Israel, Aden and Korea, and our former colonies.
What was this experience like for the young men of Haringey?
We welcome any memories from former conscripts and their relatives.
