SUMMARY:Nightmare Before Christmas - Relaxed Screening
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed screening of The Nightmare Before Ch
ristmas, with some spooky film-themed activities and treats along the
way.\nOur CINEMA experience is designed to be comfortable, caring, inc
lusive and neuro-affirming, with a more relaxed approach to the usual
expectations around going to the cinema.\nAll are welcome, with recomm
ended ages of 8–14 years.\nWhat to expect\n\nA relaxed cinema experi
ence – social expectations are lowered, so there's no pressure to si
t completely still, be quiet throughout the film or interact with othe
rs.\nSensory adjustments – we'll make adjustments to sound, lighting
and movement to help make the experience more comfortable.\nSpaces to
take a break – there'll be dedicated areas where you can take some
time away from the screening, with themed colouring books.\nSpooky pho
to opportunities – we've got some themed props for anyone who wants
to get a photo.\n\nUnmask & Mask Up\nFancy dressing up? Come along in
your favourite costume and join our Costume Catwalk. It can be anythin
g you like – Nightmare Before Christmas themed, spooky, silly or com
pletely unrelated. Costumes are completely optional, of course!\nAnd w
hat's Halloween without a Trick 'o' Treat? There'll be some vegan trea
ts available too.\nMost importantly, there's no right or wrong way to
enjoy the event. You can get involved in everything, just watch the fi
lm, take breaks when you need to, or a bit of everything.\nCome as you
are and enjoy C.I.N.E.M.A in whatever way works for you.\n£5pp - pro
ceeds to local children's charitable organisations, Paths Through Chan
