Event Description

Do you think that neighbourliness has declined? Do you look out for your neighbours? Do they look out for you? Does it make any difference if people take an interest in their neighbours or not?

HoL and Networked Neighbourhoods is holding two public meetings (same meeting but two separate days/times/venues) to focus on the extremely topical issue of neighbourliness.

There will be a short talk by Kevin Harris, HoL member and author of 'Respect in the Neighbourhood' and 'Neighbouring and Older People.'

Please come along to one of them if you can to share your views!

Oct 28th, 11-12.30 at Cyprus Kitchen, 628-630 Green Lanes, downstairs meeting room

OR

Nov. 2nd, 7.- 8.30pm Stroud Green Library, Quernmore Road.

Light refreshments will be available. RSVP Ruth at HoL

Looking forward to seeing people at the Neighbouring discussion tomorrow. One of the things I'm keen to find out is whether or not people think neighbourliness has really declined? If so, why, does it matter, and what might be done about it? If anyone has good news stories about relations with their neighbours, please bring them along!
