Free event - Join us to celebrate the summer solstice with an evening forage walk through Finsbury Park. Beginners and experienced foragers welcome. We will explore and share knowledge of plant id, folklore, medicine, both traditional and current culinary uses. The walk will be guided by London-based forager Michael Stuart and herbalist Rasheeqa Ahmed, identifying over 30 wild plants.
For more information see the event listing on Facebook. The plan is to meet at 6:30pm at the main entrance to Finsbury Park on Seven Sisters Road, next to Finsbury Park Station. We'll walk through the park to Edible Landscapes London, near Manor House tube, for a hot herbal drink and see what we've found.
And like the plants, this walk is free! Booking not required. The walk is for up to 20 people on a first come basis.
