DESCRIPTION:“The magical sound combination of french horn, violin an
 d piano is used in classical musicand I wanted to introduce the jazz w
 orld to this highly original instrumentation. Theinspiration for my co
 mpositions, which we recorded for the album Triplicity, comes frommany
  different sources.For instance ‘Barton Glebe'; is loosely based on 
 the opening of theBrahms horn trio and Sweet Tamarind, an uplifting wa
 ltz, is inspired by the music of BillEvans. ” Jim Rattigan 2024\nJim
  Rattigan has performed all over the world both as a jazz soloist and 
 as a band member ofvarious groups including the Michael Brecker Quinde
 ctet, the Charlie Haden / Carla BleyLiberation Music Orchestra, the Mc
 Coy Tyner Big Band, Django Bates’ Delightful Precipice,Jim has toure
 d and recorded with Kenny Wheeler, Brad Mehldau, Mike Gibbs and the Ha
 nsKoller band with Steve Swallow and Bill Frizzell. Mark lockheart, Ju
 lian Arguelles, Irakere,BBC Big Band, Guy Barker Big Band and the Lond
 on Sinfonietta. He has recorded 6 albumsunder his own name.Jim was a m
 ember of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for 6 yearsbefore leaving to
  concentrate on jazz and composition.He has played on numerous filmsco
 res including several James Bond movies and Lord Of The Rings. His own
  music hasbeen used for film T.V. and radio. Jim has worked with many 
 pop artists including, PaulMcCartney, George Michael,Damon Albarn, Ade
 le, Paloma Faith. He has also toured withNigel Kennedy and Tony Bennet
 t and recorded with the Folk singer June Tabor.Jim wasrecently awarded
  an ARAM from the Royal Academy for his contribution to music.\nDomini
 c Ingham combines violin techniques from his folk and classical backgr
 ound, in orderto create a unique way of playing jazz violin. He has pe
 rformed in a broad range of musicalcontexts, including five piece coll
 ective Bonsai, Jonny Mansfield’s Elftet, Camila Meza’sNectarOrches
 tra and indie rock band Blaenavon.\nPianist Liam Noble studied music a
 t Oxford University, and jazz at the Guildhall in London, Aftercollege
  he started to build a reputation of note playing with Stan Sulzmann, 
 Anita WardellandBobby Wellins, Liam has a continued working relationsh
 ips with Tom Rainey, IngridLaubrock, Julian Siegel, Evan Parker and Pe
