DESCRIPTION:For this special Jazz in the House evening, Pete and Nick 
 will feature their new album of original music: ‘Mercurial Indigo’
  and will be joined by the great rhythm section of Andy Hamill on ac
 oustic & electric basses (and chromatic harmonica) and  Paul Cavaciut
 i on drums.\n \nThe Oxley-Meier Guitar Project, formed by guitarists
  Pete Oxley and Nicolas Meier, is a unique band that successfully m
 elds contemporary jazz with ‘world-music’. They together create a 
 huge variety of textures and soundscapes, from Middle Eastern influenc
 ed music to raucous Brazilian-inspired sambas, using an unusual range 
 of guitars between them - including fretless nylon, acoustic and elect
 ric 12 strings, sitar-guitar and 11-string fretless. \n  Both are int
 ernationally acclaimed musicians and they have played all the major UK
  venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Wigmore Hall, The Sage, Musicport Wo
 rld Music Festival and the London Jazz Festival. They have also toured
  widely across Europe, presenting the music from all five of their CD
