Ferry Lane Estate is Haringey's flagship Green social housing estate. Much has been done here to encourage a richer diversity of species from: installing wood piles; bird and bat boxes; hedgehog hibernacula and, improved green space management and habitat creation, with rich nectar/pollen wildflowers and with pollinating insects in mind.
The walk will introduce you to key areas; works done; and will explain the important links between wildlife corridors, of which the estate has a few.
MEET OUTSIDE THE SHOP (RJV News) at the bottom of Reedham Close.
