Learn more about one of the planet’s most fascinating creatures, join this talk with Liz Jack, the beekeeper of Queen’s Wood Organic Garden and Paul de Zylva, lead campaigner for Bee Cause from Friends of the Earth.

 Liz Jack, local beekeeper will describe the how’s, ’why fors’ and joys of keeping honeybees in your garden.

Paul de Zylva, who has conceived and leads Bee Cause, a Friends of the Earth campaign concerned with ending the plight of wild bees, bumble and solitary bees (266 species) will speak on the current plight of bees in the UK and what we can do to help.

A fascinating evening plus treat your taste buds to the delights of honey mead and a selection of honey based cakes and other treats!
