DESCRIPTION:In a special show as part of Lauderdale House’s Free Lun
 chtime Concert series, Talia Nabarro will perform her programme ‘Pro
 gressions of Love: A Recital in Four Movements’, accompanied by our 
 resident pianist Stephen Hose.\n\nBringing together opera, art song, t
 raditional song and musical theatre, this recital explores love at dif
 ferent stages of life. The programme is divided into four movements: E
 arly Love, Mature Love, Regret and Loss, and Self-Love/Self-Actualisat
 ion. Beginning with the excitement and innocence of first love, it mov
 es through intimacy and deeper connection before turning to longing, h
 eartbreak and reflection. The final movement focuses on independence, 
 self-acceptance and finding fulfilment within oneself.\n\nTalia Nabarr
 o is a classical soprano based in North London. She studied Music Perf
 ormance at the University of Leeds, where she recently graduated with 
 a First-Class BMus. During her degree, she spent a year at the Univers
 ity of California, Santa Cruz, studying vocal performance and opera. H
 er roles there included Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and C
 inderella in Sondheim’s Into the Woods. \n\nTickets are free, but w
