Event Description

Around 40 community food-producing gardens across the capital are open for this day of activities, with a chance to meet the gardeners behind them and receive advice.

Nearby us, three of the twelve participating north London gardens are Haringey-based:

Green Routes (Met. Support Trust) Space 624, Open 11-4 
Manor House Gate, Finsbury Park, Green Lanes, N4 2NQ. Rolling workshops on fruit tree grafting, urban food growing and propagation, and lots more.


MIND in Haringey Allotment and Gardening Project Space 759, Open 11-4.

Station House, 73C Stapleton Hall Road N4 3QF. Celebrating 20 years of advocacy service and to launch new projects with food provided by Foodcycle.  Entertainment from their Younger Minds project and a range of complimentary therapies available to try out.

Roof of Thorntons Budgens, 21-23 the Broadway, Crouch End, Haringey. Rear of Budgens, access from Crouch Hall Road, off Crouch End Broadway, N8 8DU. Tour and story of the garden, nature trail and treasure hunt, seed games and how to collect seeds.

Just spotted that Stroud Green and Harringay Library's garden is also open tomorrow:

Knowing Thru Growing Space Space 654, Open 9-5 
Stroud Green Library, corner of Quernmore Road and Stapleton Hall Road, N4 4QR. 
Ask at the library desk for a look around the garden.
