 t, Peter Bradshaw (author and Guardian film critic), Mat Baynton (c
 omedian, actor writer, Horrible Histories and Ghosts), Catherine West 
 MP, Robert Peston, Steve Richards, Alan Wolfson, Dave Cohen, Rohan Ca
 ndappa and a long list of local writers of all kinds – novelists, f
 actual, script writers, comedy writers, poets, etc... From young and n
 ew to established names. (List coming soon - watch this space!)\r\nLis
 ten. Learn. Be inspired!\r\nFamily friendly - kids welcome - they may 
 be inspired.\r\nMost events are free.\r\nRun by the Crouch End Festiv
 al team, in association with Dave Cohen, Hornsey Library, Friends of 
 Hornsey Library, Waterstones Crouch End, All Good Bookshop, and teh in
 timate Space,  it should be quite an event. And certainly not like mo
 st traditional literary festivals.\r\nSpread over 3 days the hub will 
 be in the Hornsey Library but we are also running talks, workshops a
 nd novel events across the N8 area in a variety of venues including: 
 Waterstones / Holy Innocents / The Intimates Space (St Mary’s Tower)
  / Art House / The Green / Stapleton / All Good Bookshop / + various p
 op-up venues.\r\nA novel favourite with the summer festival, we have 
 Poets in the Phone Box featuring Alan Wolfson and others. Plus the
  Great Letter Hunt - can you find the 26 letters around Crouch End?\
 r\nPlus recitals and performances in coffee shops and pop-up performan
 ce spaces.\r\nThe Crouch End Players will be performing NO QUARTER 
 by local legend Barry Bermange, across all three nights of the festiva
 l at the Intimate Space (St Mary’s Tower) in Hornsey Village.\r\nFri
  23, 7:30 - WURDS+MUSIC is an üF-Beat special - a night of improvise
 d music & spoken word in the Holy Eye (Holy Innocents) featuring top
  writers and musicians.\r\nWe have workshops on self-publishing, and c
 omedy writing. A talk on Dyslexic writers featuring Sam Rapp the ‘D
 yslexic Poet’ and Dr Chris Arnold, dyslexic and founder of Dyversity
  Lab. (Did you know Agatha Christie, Yeats, Fitzgerald and Hans Christ
 ian Andersen were dyslexic?).\r\nWe hope that there is something for e
 veryone, whatever your taste. This isn't your ordinary literary festiv
 al, it's  more fun. more creative and a little more dynamic.\n\nFor m
