Bookbinding workshop - Introduction

The bookbinding workshop is a day time class run on Saturdays where students will have the opportunity to learn bookbinding and boxmaking techniques in a variety of historical and contemporary styles using a selection of binding materials. All necessary materials will be provided.

In the introduction to bookbinding skills students will learn the basic skills required to make small books with wrap around covers and pamphlets. Ideal for those who wish to explore the structure of books, make their own notebooks and publications.

Run by artist Evy Jokhova who has been working in the field of book arts for over 6 years. Her books are held in public collections such as Royal College of Art, The British Library and Lafayette College Library and private collections worldwide.
