DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for our 2023 bird survey while th
 e Paddock is undergoing it's Japanese Knotweed removal work\n\nWhat to
  expect:\n- A short talk on a bird species or bird-related topic each 
 week.\n- A guided transect survey of the whole site.\n- Help with iden
 tifying birds visually and by birdsong.\n- By booking onto multiple se
 ssions you’ll gain a deeper understanding of seasonal cycles, and im
 prove your I.D. skills.\nPre-booking is essential, book now to confirm
  a place.\nPlease be aware Eventbrite booking closes one day before ea
 ch surveying event at 5pm.\nIf you have to cancel your place for any r
 eason, please get in touch via thepaddock@tcv.org.uk or by the contact
  numbers below to let us know.\n\nWhat to bring:\nYou will be issued w
 ith a field recording sheet, species guide sheets, a clipboard and a p
 encil.\nIf you own a pair of binoculars and further ID guides/books, y
 ou are welcome to bring them along.\nIndividual surveys will run outdo
 ors for about an hour, please be sure to check the weather/temperature
  and dress accordingly.\n\nUnder 18s:\nAll ages can join in the bird s
 urvey, the route is a little muddy but buggies are welcome!\nIf you wa
 nt to volunteer and are 16-17 years old please ensure you get in touch
  with us at thepaddock@tcv.org.uk, as you will need a completed parent
 / guardian consent form to join in. For everyone aged 15 and under the
