DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\nWe invite you to join us at the Paddoc
 k for our weekly bird survey in 2022! Whether you are an expert or com
 plete beginner this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the w
 ildlife on your doorstep.\n\nWhat to expect:\n- A short talk on a bird
  species or bird-related topic each week.\n- A guided transect survey 
 of the whole site.\n- Help with identifying birds visually and by bird
 song.\n-The data collected will help us develop the Paddock into a Loc
 al Nature Reserve.\n- By booking onto multiple sessions you’ll gain 
 a deeper understanding of seasonal cycles, and improve your I.D. skill
 s.\nPre-booking is essential, book now to confirm a place.\nPlease be 
 aware Eventbrite booking closes one day before each surveying event at
  5pm.\nIf you have to cancel your place for any reason, please get in 
 touch via thepaddock@tcv.org.uk or by the contact numbers below to let
  us know.\n\nWhat to bring:\nYou will be issued with a field recording
  sheet, species guide sheets, a clipboard and a pencil.\nIf you own a 
 pair of binoculars and further ID guides/books, you are welcome to bri
 ng them along.\nIndividual surveys will run outdoors for about an hour
 , please be sure to check the weather/temperature and dress accordingl
 y.\n\nCOVID-Safe Measures:\nWhilst social distancing and COVID-safe me
 asures are no longer legally required, you are welcome to wear a mask 
 if you would like to. Please consider others' wishes who may still wan
 t to social distance, and always wash hands before eating/drinking on 
 TCV projects.\nUnder 18s:\nAll ages can join in the bird survey, the r
 oute is a little muddy but buggies are welcome!\nIf you want to volunt
 eer and are 16-17 years old please ensure you get in touch with us at 
 thepaddock@tcv.org.uk, as you will need a completed parent/ guardian c
 onsent form to join in. For everyone aged 15 and under they will also 
 need a parent/guardian with them to attend.\n\nMeeting point:\nWe will
