Beginner group singing lessons are currently being offered by Kerry McDunnough (BMus, PGDip, LRAM). Kerry graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with her postgraduate diploma in vocal performance and also completed the Academy's prestigious teaching diploma, LRAM, with Distinction. She has taught at Arts Education, Merton Music Foundation, St Martha's Senior School, Hampstead Fine Arts College, and privately.
Kerry is an actively performing opera and jazz singer and recent engagements include concert work for the Canadian embassy, opera work for Opera by Definition, singing in the UK premiere of the opera Message from the Soul, concert work with members of the Jools Holland Orchestra, and several corporate events (such as Selfridges).
The next beginner class begins this Thursday the 20th of September from 7-8pm and the second on Thursday the 20th of September from 8-9pm for six consecutive weeks in Harringay. There will be a maximum of 4 students so that concentration will be on the development of the individual as well as the group. The course will see students perform repertoire from the classical, musical theatre, pop and jazz genres. The six weeks will end with an informal concert where each student will bring one friend and we will perform our songs followed by food, wine and fun!
The cost of the six week course is £90/£75 concessions and includes tuition, materials, and light refreshments.
More of Kerry's work and vocal samples can be found on her website: www.bellaria-londonvocals.co.uk
