During this 2 hour workshop, children will be designing and making their own patterned beadwork bracelet. It is a great opportunity for children age 8+ to learn how to use needle and thread in order to make sophisticated beadwork jewellery.
In my Beadwork jewellery-making parties and workshops, I teach different techniques for making necklaces, rings and earrings. Children learn how to follow their own design and to understand and create different patterns. As well as the enjoyment and thrill of creating beautiful jewellery, beadwork is a great tool to help with children’s concentration, fine motor skills, and even problem solving and math (counting beads is essential for following a successful design to completion).
The children usually start off not quite believing in their ability to create such a complicated piece of jewellery, and when it is finished, it gives them a boost in confidence and a great sense of achievement.
The number of children for this workshop is limited to 10, so please book in advance. To book Rinat at email@example.com or call 07962674043 Price: £8
