Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Wonder if anyone can help ID this shrub in Alexandra Park. Should know what it is. White, 5 (and it looks like some 4) petalled flowers and and red berries. Wondering if it might be a Skimmia japonia or........

Here's a reverse image search (using your first photo as the image to search on) in case that helps.

Interesting resource that I didn't know existed, will use again thanks.

Hi Stephen
Did you get any joy?
I wondered if it is related to an aucuba japonica but then thought it could be a viburnum.
It looks so familiar too

Daphne odora Aureomarginata

Thanks, but the images I have seen for Daphne don't seem to have the protruding lime green centres. e.g. https://facultystaff.richmond.edu/~jhayden/plant_images/d/daphne_od...

Don't think that it is Acuba japonica - flower is different https://www.flickr.com/photos/47046427@N03/24813442332/in/album-721...

Lots of different Viburnum, could be - but doesn't ring a bell straight away.

No joy on reverse image search attempt. Thanks for suggestions.

I reckon it's a Skimmia. Not sure which variety.
